The Park Line Towers at MiamiCentral continue to quickly rise in Downtown Miami since we last looked at the project in March.

The 30 story North Tower is getting close to topping off while the 33 story South Tower is nearing the halfway mark. A skybridge has been added that connects the two towers together.

Plans have been revealed by The Miami Herald of Swire Properties proposed expansion of Brickell City Centre, which includes two high rise condo towers.

The first tower and first expansion would have 588 residential units and be built on the site of the now demolished Tobacco Road on a lot size of 72,000 square feet. The first three levels will be retail. The development will be in partnership with Tobacco Road Property Holdings (Isanic Trading), which is owned by Colombian Developer Carlos Mattos who purchased the land for $12.5 million in April 2012. City approval for the first tower is expected by the end of the year with construction starting in 2020.

Designed by Arquitectonica, the first tower will be connected to the existing Brickell City Centre by two skybridges. 

The second expansion site, which will be a boutique tower on the site of the former Associated Photo buildings. The buildings were also purchased by Carlos Mattos for $9 million in August 2015. The second tower will be developed after the first tower.

Swire Properties also owns land just North of Brickell City Centre across from La Centrale where another condo tower was proposed in 2014. This site will be used for construction staging.

Miami Metromall Sold For $14.5M

Miami Metromall in Downtown Miami

Originally listed in September 2017 and expected to sell over $20 million, the Miami Metromall has sold for $14.5 million, according to The Real Deal.

The 225,000 square foot building was purchased by Yair Levy of Time Century Holdings with plans to renovate it into a luxury jewelry center. 

The site is zoned for 80 stories and 774 units.

Brickell Flatiron Reaches 46th Floor Of Construction (Photos & Video)

Brickell Flatiron continues to rise quickly as it gets closer to the the 64 floor top off.

Last month, construction reached the 42nd floor as the pace moves at a floor per week with top off anticipated by November/December of this year. A year ago, construction reached the 10th floor.

Design District Building Sold For $10.1M

A 16,900 square foot building located at 4136 North Miami Avenue in the Design District has sold for $10.1 million, according to The Real Deal.

The building was sold by developer Manny Varas and purchased by Perpetual Love Acquisitions LLC.

After going vertical at the beginning of the year, Maizon at Brickell has now reached the 11th floor of the 24 story rental in West Brickell. 

The tower portion on the South side of the building is starting to rise and when completed will have 262 rental units.
