200 East Flagler Building Sold For $19.75M

A five story building in Downtown Miami, located at 200 East Flagler St has been sold for $19.75 million, according to The Miami Herald.

The 46,912 square foot building, which was originally a Walgreens, was built in 1937 and was purchased by Stambul. Stambul also purchased the Old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse Building for $11 million in 2014. 

The building will be converted into high end restaurants, retail and entertainment venues.

Moishe Mana Purchases Another Downtown Miami Building For $13M

Moishe Mana has purchased a 2 story building located at 201 East Flagler in Downtown Miami for $12.9 million, according to The Real Deal.

The 29,042 square feet building built in 1947 sits on a 14,000 square foot lot. 

Mana recently purchased 26,000 square feet of office space at 100 Flagler Street in March for $4.75 million.

Mana has purchased over $350 million in Miami real estate in Downtown Miami and Wynwood over the past 8 years.

2.5 Acre Site Listed For $125 Million In Downtown Miami

A 2.52 acre site located located at 251 Flagler Street in Downtown Miami is being listed for sale at $125 million

The site was originally listed in April 2015 as Sky Plaza, but never sold. 

The site, now called Flagler City Center, is approved by the FAA for a 1,010 foot tower with 2500 residential units at 4 million square feet.

Moishe Mana Purchases Over 26,000 Sq Ft Of Office Space At 100 East Flagler

Moishe Mana has purchased 25,600 square feet of office space at 100 East Flagler for $4.75 million, according to The Real Deal.

The office space is located on floors 2,3,8 and 9, to go also with the two story penthouse office space in the building purchased in 2016 for $1.7 million.

Mana purchased a 6,000 square foot lot in at 30 East Flagler for $4 million in June 2016.

Downtown Miami Macy's To Get Two 50 Story Towers

Earlier this year in January, it was announced that the Downtown Miami Macy's would be closing. 

After purchasing the two buildings in 2013 for $15.55 million, Aetna Realty Group plan on building a 50 story tower and a 55 story tower, according to Miami Today.

Aetna Realty Group is debating whether to build two new buildings or renovate and build over the existing buildings. Either way, the towers would consist of retail, office, hotel and residences. 

The two lots are zoned for two 80 story buildings.

The Downtown Miami Macy's located at 22 East Flagler Street will be closing within the next 8-12 weeks, according to The Miami Herald. 

The Macy's was originally a Burdines department store with the existing store on the East side of North Miami Avenue being built in 1936 by architects E.L. Robertson and J.R. Weber. The lot across the street was purchased in 1946 and again designed by E.L. Robertson and J.R. Weber in the Streamline Moderne design that connected the two buildings by a three level bridge over North Miami Avenue.

The two buildings on 72,000 square feet of land created 467,158 square feet of interior space. 

After changing the name to Macy's from Burdines in 2005, the buildings were last purchased for $15.55 million in 2013 by Aetna Realty Group. 

The two lots are zoned for two 80 story buildings.

Mana Purchases Downtown Miami Site For $4M

Developer Moishe Mana has purchased a 6,000 square foot lot in Downtown Miami located at 30 East Flagler for $4 million, per The Real Deal.  

Mana has purchased $258.2 million is Miami real estate including The Biscayne Building  last year for $24.5 million and plans for a 49 story micro apartments at 200 North Miami Avenue.
