Two MiamiCentral Headed For Fall Opening

While Three MiamiCentral is getting closer to completion, the other office tower of the MiamiCentral Development, Two MiamiCentral, already has the glass installed on the exterior of the 10 story building. 

Expected to open in the fall, Two MiamiCentral will have over 190,000 square feet of Class A office space.

A Look At The MiamiCentral Construction

Construction is progressing on the 11 acre mixed used development MiamiCentral since we last looked in March. 

The windows are being installed on the lower two floors where the 180,000 square feet of retail will be and include tenants such as Monger - New Signature Restaurant byThe Voltaggios, Rosetta, Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Parliament Espresso & Coffee Bar and more. 

The elevated tracks are taking shape that will start service to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and eventually Orlando.

Progress has been made on the office tower Two MiamiCentral, which will have 190,000 square feet of class A office space at 10 stories. Tenants include Ernst & Young, Regus, Moss & Associates and Florida East Coast Industries and more. Two MiamiCentral is expected to be completed by the Fall of this year.

The other office tower, Three MiamiCentral, at 12 stories is nearly complete and is expected to open by the end of the Summer. Tenants include Brightline and more.

31 Story Parcel B Planned For Downtown Miami

A 31 story apartment building has been proposed for Downtown Miami called Parcel B, according to The Next Miami. 

Located at 40 NW 3rd St, Parcel B, designed by Zyscovich Architects and Frances Anillo Toledo, will have 300 apartment units with 44 studios, 124 1-bedroom units and 132 2-bedroom units. There will also be a 369 parking spaces and 5,000 square feet of retail.

The site is located next to where Moishe Mana is planning a 49 story rental tower.

The MiamiCentral Station in Downtown Miami is taking shape since we last looked at the project in November 2016. The elevator shaft for the office building Two MiamiCentral is at 12 stories and will have 190,000 square feet of office space and 180,000 square feet of retail. Meanwhile on the other side, another office building, Three MiamiCentral, has all of its glass installed.

A $205 million loan was just recently secured for both the North and South Towers of the residential portion of the complex. The towers will have 800 rental units.

Service for the Brightline station is expected to start this Summer.

Construction is progressing at the MiamiCentral Station by All Aboard Florida in Miami since we last looked at the project in August

The 50 foot elevated platforms above street level are taking shape as the rail system will connect Miami with Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and eventually Orlando. Over 1,300 pilings were used for the station going 100 feet into the ground to help support the tracks. 

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill along with Zyscovich Architects, MiamiCentral will also have two residential towers: The South Tower at 33 floors and The North Tower at 30 floors with 800 rental apartments. At the Northern end of the station is the office Two MiamiCentral with over 190,000 square feet of space and 10 floors. On the Western side of the tracks, the under construction 3 MiamiCentral, has reached 12 floors. 3 MiamiCentral will have office and retail space along with 1,100 parking spaces. The base for the North and South Tower along with Two MiamiCentral are already taking shape. Full construction will not take place on these buildings until after the station is complete.

Construction on MiamiCentral - All Aboard Florida

After revealing plans in May 2014 and starting site work in November 2014, MiamiCentral is starting to take shape as the beams are being installed on the 50 foot columns. 

MiamiCentral will be a high speed rail service that will connect Miami to Orlando with stops in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Service between Miami and West Palm Beach will begin in the Summer of 2017. Full service to Orlando will begin at the end of 2017. 

MiamiCentral was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in collaboration with Zyscovich Architects. 

Construction on the office building 3 Miami Central recently reached the 8th floor.

Mana Submits Plans For 200 North Miami Avenue In Downtown Miami

Developer Moishe Mana has submitted plans for a 49 story rental tower in Downtown Miami to the Urban Development Review Board, according to The Next Miami. 

The tower called 200 North Miami Avenue, was designed by Zyscovich Architects and will have 328 units and rising to 599 feet. Along with the recently completely Centro Tower in Downtown Miami, 200 North Miami Avenue will not have any parking.

Currently on the 14,325-square-foot lot are two buildings built in 1922 and 1925 where tenants include a pawn shop, pizza place and law office. The lot was purchased in January 2014 for just over $7 million.
