Una Residences In Brickell Approved By Miami Urban Development Review Board

After being announced in March of this year, the 47 story Una Residences in Brickell has been approved by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board.

The luxury condominium is being developed by OKO Group, who are also developing the under construction Missoni Baia and also planning another condominium at 830 Brickell. At 579 feet and only 137 residential units, Una Residences was designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill Architecture.

Construction on Una Residences is expected to be completed in 2021.

A 47 story luxury condominium called Una Residences is being planned in Brickell located at 175 SE 25th Rd.

The tower will be developed by OKO Group, who is also developing the under construction Missoni Baia, and designed by architectural firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. Lanscaping will be by Enzo Enea.

Una Residences will have 135 residential units that will range from 1,100 to 4,786 square feet with prices from $900,000 to $5 million. 

Currently on the site is an aging 11 story condo built in 1971 on a 47,248 square foot lot. An Una sales center was built on the 11 floor of the building. OKO Group purchased all of the individual 61 units in the building for a total of $48 million. 

Along with Missoni Baia, OKO Group purchased land for $54 million in Edgewater in November 2016 and also started demolition on another Brickell site at 830 SE 1st Ave where a 712 foot luxury condo is planned.

Una Residences is expected to be completed in 2021.

Demolition has begun on the Latin American Kitchen building at the 830 Brickell site at 830 SE 1st Ave in Brickell.

830 Brickell is owned by OKO Group where they plan on building a 712 foot luxury condo.

The Chicken Kitchen, also on the site, is still open for business.

Construction is underway at the 57 story Missoni Baia in Edgewater after beginning demolition on the site in September 2015.

Rising 649 feet, groundbreaking on the 249 unit tower began October 13th of this year and is expected to receive $100 million in financing. 

OKO Group also purchased a 2 acre site next to Missoni Baia in November 2016 for $54 million.

Missoni Baia is being developed by OKO Group and Cain International. The building was designed by Asymptote Architecture.

OKO Group Purchases Edgewater Site For $54M

Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin of OKO Group has purchased a 2 acre Edgewater site for $54 million, according The Miami Herald.

The Edgewater site is located between NE 26th Terrace and NE 27th Street in front of Bay House. The site is just North of OKO Group's planned 57 story Missoni Baia condo, which launched sales earlier this year. The Missoni Baia lots were purchased for a total of $39 million in 2014 and 2015. 

The sellers of the newly purchased 2 acre site are the Jesuit Fathers of the Province of the Antilles where most of the buildings were built in the 1930's.

OKO Group also has a lot in the heart of Brickell at 830 SE 1st Avenue and a lot in South Brickell on the edge of Biscayne Bay at 175 Southeast 25th Road where they are planning a 48 story condo.

The 56 story luxury condominium is designed by Asymptote Architecture along with Luis Revuelta of Revuelta Architecture.

The building will only have 146 units and price will range from $1.675 to $3.9 million. 

700 Edgewater Sales Center To Open Next Week

A sales center has been built at the 700 Edgewater site located at 700 NE 26th and is expected to open next week. 

Developer OKO Group has spent $39 million assembling land in the area and began demolishing houses on the site in September 2015.  The 12 story Electra on the Bay was demolished with an implosion in October 2015. 

According to The Next Miami, a 649 foot tower was approved by the FAA and plans should be revealed soon.

Update: The condo will be branded by fashion house Missoni and will have 146 units from two to four bedrooms, according to The Real Deal.
