The 60 story Paramount Miami Worldcenter in Downtown Miami is nearing completion as the final push until opening is being done.

The luxury pool deck is close to be finished as the pool is filled with water and cabanas are built. Paramount Miami Worldcenter will have 513 residential units.

A year ago, the building was on the 54th floor and close to top off. Construction started going vertical November 2017.

The Pleasure Emporium Demolished

TBT (July 6, 2015) - 4 years ago, the buildings that were located along the Miami River in Brickell were demolished to make way for 4 60 story towers called Miami River. The project is to be developed by Chetrit Group and designed by Kobi Karp.

The site is still vacant today.

After receiving approval from the Urban Development Review Board, demolition has begun at the Miami River site located just East of I-95 and along the Miami River.

The buildings on the site that were demolished include the Pleasure Emporium III, Sir Speedy and several single family homes. Currently Finnegan's on the River and a few boating stores remain on the site closest to the river and should be demolished soon. 

The Miami River site is part of the transformation of West Brickell and will be built in five phases of construction.

Midtown 6 should be completed before the end of the year as construction continues on the 32 story building in Midtown Miami.

A year ago, construction was on the 16th floor of the rental building designed by bKL Architecture and developed by Magellan Development Group and Midtown Development.

Construction began February 2018.

The 28 story rental tower Yard 8 (formerly Midtown 8) is now open in Midtown Miami.

Construction started going vertical July 2017 before topping off in April 2018.

Designed by Stantec and developed by Wood Partners, Yard 8 has 387 rental units with 29,549 square feet of retail.

The 5 story Babylon Apartments in Brickell is being demolished after sitting abandoned for 4 years and years of trying to save the structure.

The Arquitectonica designed building was built in 1982 and held 15 apartments.

Plans for the The Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove went for review by Miami’s Historic & Environmental Review Board yesterday.

Construction is already underway on the site as the seawall is being rebuilt on the site of the former Chart House restaurant.

Construction is also underway on the Grove Bay Parking Garage.

River Landing Miami

The 23 story and 25 story River Landing Miami along the Miami River continues ahead as both towers have now topped off.

Developed by Urban X and designed by BC Architects, River Landing will have 507 rental units, 382,030 square feet of retail, 39,900 square feet of restaurant space and 2,200 parking spaces.

River Landing is expected to be completed early 2020.
