The 57 story Elysee tower in Edgewater is getting closer to topping off as construction reaches the 45th floor. In May, construction reached the 34th floor.

In June 2018, construction started going vertical on the building after the foundation pour.

The Bentley Hotel Ocean Drive

The Bentley Hotel located at 510 Ocean Drive has been sold for $28 million, according to The Real Deal.

The building was sold by JKR Bentley Holdings LLC and purchased by Ocean & 5th Commericial LLC.

The 3 story Art Deco style hotel was built in 1939 and designed by John & Coulton Skinner.

In 1980, there was a Sanchez Restaurant on the ground level that has now become a TGIF Friday’s Restaurant.

Melo Group's Miami Plaza Reaches 11th Floor

The 35 story Miami Plaza in the Arts & Entertainment District is rising quickly as construction reaches the 11th floor after hitting the 6th floor last month.

The Melo Group developed project will have 425 rental units.

The 60 story Paramount Miami Worldcenter in Downtown Miami has received its temporary certificate of occupancy and is now completed, according to The Real Deal.

Construction on Paramount Miami Worldcenter started to go vertical November 2016 before topping off in August 2018.

With 569 residential units, Paramount Miami Worldcenter is 90% sold.

The rental tower Caoba Miami Worldcenter was the building to be completed, in January of this year, as part of the 27 acre Miami Worldcenter complex.

Coconut Grove Bank Will Be Demolished For Park Grove

TBT (July 29, 2014) - Park Grove was announced as coming to Coconut Grove. The first two towers, The Club Residences and Two Park Grove were completed in October 2018 and the last tower, One Park Grove, recently topped off and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

Slow to the residential boom of Miami is Coconut Grove, but that is all changing with the addition of Park Grove. 

Developers Terra Group and Related Group are joining together to create three towers that will consist of 300 units. The towers were designed by architect Rem Koolhaas.

Currently in it's place is the Coconut Grove Bank, which has been there for many years. The bank will have a smaller space in one of the towers, but will stay in where it is until the first phase of the project is completed. 

The site is located near Grove at Grand Bay, which was once the site of the iconic Grand Bay Hotel. Across from Park Grove will be the new Regatta Park, which will give residents views of Biscayne Bay. 

Groundbreaking is expected early 2015.

39 Story Tower Proposed For Miami's Arts & Entertainment District

Another tower will be coming to the Arts & Entertainment district called 14th Street Tower, according to The SFBJ.

The 39 story tower located at 1441 North Miami Avenue will be developed by NR Investments who also developed the recently completed Canvas Condo and the building is being designed by Zyscovich Architects.

The building will have 543 residential units - including 231 micro sized units, 35,128 square feet of office space, 8,706 square feet of retail space and 452 parking spaces.

800 Brickell Office Building Sold For $126M

The 15 story office tower, 800 Brickell, has just sold for $126 million, according to The Daily Business Review.

The building was purchased by Gatsby Enterprise and sold by RREEF America. RREEF America purchased the building for $111.6 million in May 2015.

800 Brickell was built in 1981 and featured in an episode of Miami Vice.
