Design District With The Buena Vista District Above
TBT (March 27, 2015) - Miami City Commissioners approved the Design District expansion which now includes the completed Paradise Plaza. Also part of the expansion was Museum Garage, which was completed May 2018.
City commissioners have given the green light to allowing expansion of the Design District further North, according to Miami Today.
This will mean that the Design District will extend into the Buena Vista district, which is next to Little Haiti.
Residents in the area are said to welcome the expansion.
