Construction Progress Updates On Zaha Hadid's One Thousand Museum (Photos & Video)

One Thousand Museum

One Thousand Museum

When we last looked at One Thousand Museum in February, the luxury condominium in Downtown Miami just topped off at 709 feet.

A year ago in August 2017, One Thousand Museum just surpassed neighboring tower Ten Museum in height. Two years ago, the tower just reached the 15th floor.

Construction continues on the Zaha Hadid designed tower as the hoists have been removed from the South and West side the building showing a clearer look at the exoskeleton. In November 2017, installation began on the glass fiber reinforced concrete which gives the the exoskeleton a smooth finish on the curves of the building. The panels are almost installed all over the whole tower. Cladding also is being installed on the parking garage on the base of the building. The rooftop helipad, the first in Miami since The Centrust Tower in the 1980's, is starting to take shape.

Construction is expected to be completed be the end of the year.
