1836 Biscayne Boulevard
New plans have been submitted for a 40 story tower at 1836 Biscayne Boulevard and rising 419 feet. The tower would be next First Church of Christ Scientist building that will be preserved.
The building will have 364 rental units with a rooftop pool and ground level retail.
Another design was submitted in January 2015 that had a tower over the existing couch with columns inside.
Fifteen Group paid $14.3 million for the property in November 2014.
Rendering At 1836 Biscayne Blvd
Plans have been submitted to the City of Miami for a residential condo above the First Church of Christ Scientist building. The proposal would preserve the church while converting it to retail space. The condo would be built above the church at a max height of 36 stories, which is the most allowing by zoning.
The site was purchased in November 2014, by Fifteen Group for $14.3 million.
The project is being designed by ADD, Inc.

Across the street at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard a developer submitted plans for a 429 unit tower according to The Next Miami.
