Optimum USA Brickell 2 Receives $7M Construction Loan For Starlite Motel Site

The Starlite Motel in Brickell

Optimum USA Brickell 2 has received a $7 million construction loan from City National Bank, according to The Real Deal. 

The Starlite Motel was purchased by Optimum USA Brickell 2 in December 2014 for $24.8 million. 

The site located at 128 SW 7th St is zoned for 24 stories and is located two blocks West of Brickell City Centre.

Alfredo Coto of Millennium Developments has purchased two lots South of the Citgo gas station, which he bought in May 2014 for $9.25 million, to bring the total investment on the one acre site for $16 million. 

The two lots purchased are located at 195 SW 9th Street and 161 SW 9th Street. The one acre site is approved for a 24 story building. 

 In July 2014, Coto bought land next to the Epic Hotel and Residences for $125 million

The Starlite Motel across the street recently sold for $25 million in December 2014

The Starlite Motel in Brickell has sold for $25 million according to The Real Deal

The two story motel was purchased by Optimum USA Brickell 2 LLC. 

The property located at 128 SW 7th St. is one block West of Brickell City Centre, which is under construction.
