TBT - Panorama Tower Reaches 46th Floor

Panorama Tower continues to rise in Brickell as it reaches the 46th floor before topping out at 83 stories.

The FAA recently approved a height increase to Panorama Tower from the initial height of 822 feet to 868 feet. 

Almost a year ago, Panorama had just reached the 11th floor of the parking garage.

TBT (February 27, 2015) - 5 years ago today, Panorama Tower was starting to go vertical before topping off in April 2017 at 83 stories. The top of the building showcases 360 views of Miami.

Since starting construction and pouring the foundation at Panorama Tower, the building is slowly making its way above ground level.

Two cranes have been added to the site at 1101 Brickell Bay Drive.

TBT (November 17, 2016) - 3 years ago, construction was reaching the 25th floor at Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum before topping off in February 2018. The building received TCO in July of this year.

The under construction 62 story One Thousand Museum in Miami has reached the 25th floor. When we last looked at the project in August construction had reached the 15th floor.

The glass fiber reinforced concrete panels are starting to be installed on the exoskeleton of the building. More windows are starting to be installed on the lower portion of the tower.

Construction will be completed in 2018.

TBT (February 27, 2015) - 4 years ago, the tallest building in Miami - Panorama Tower was just starting to go vertical with two cranes installed at the site. The building would top off in April 2017 at 868 feet with incredible 360 views of all of Miami. Panorama Tower would eventually open in May 2018.

Since starting construction and pouring the foundation at Panorama Tower, the building is slowly making its way above ground level.

TBT (February 26, 2015) - Four years ago the under construction Grove at Grand Bay was about to top off at 20 stories in Coconut Grove. The two twisting buildings designed by Bjarke Ingels would eventually officially top off in June 2015. The buildings were completed in August 2016. The Grove at Grand Bay is an architectural marvel located in Coconut Grove, Miami. When you drive into Coconut Grove the two twisting towers immediately catch your eye and are gorgeous to look at. At night is when the towers really come to life and the twisting columns are more pronounced and prominent. 

The two twenty story towers were designed by architect Bjarke Ingels and developed by Terra Group. Both the towers are a floor away from being topped out to their maximum height.

Cranes Removed At Park Grove

Since topping off in March, the crane is being removed at the Club Residences of Park Grove. One crane has been removed from Two Park Grove with the third crane coming down soon.

One Thousand Museum Reaches The 38th Floor Of Construction

When we last looked at the under construction One Thousand Museum on 1000 Biscayne Boulevard, the building was on the 31st floor. Construction has now reached the 38th floor of the 62 story tower.

A year ago, the base of the building was starting to take shape on the Pritzker Prize winning architect Zaha Hadid designed tower.

One of the unique features of One Thousand Museum is the exoskeleton, which supports the building. The exoskeleton is made of over 3,000 pieces of glass fiber reinforced concrete, which is made in Dubai and shipped to Miami every week. The panels are clamped around the steel rebar and poured with concrete to the give the exoskeleton a continuous flow.
