An 82 Story tower has been proposed at the Downtown Miami Courtyard Marriott site at 200 SE 2nd Ave, according to The Real Deal.

The 1.5 million square foot building would have 266 hotel rooms and 637 residential units with 553 parking spaces. 

Currently on the site is a 13 story Courtyard Marriott that was built in 1975 on 1.2 acres.

The building was listed for sale in September 2014 and eventually taken off the market.

The site is owned by AVR Realty affiliate Miami Convention Hotel Corp.

After being announced in July, a 42 story Miami Marriott Courtyard located at 511 NE 15th Street went under review by Miami's Urban Development Review Board on October 6th.

The 11,700 square foot lot was purchased for $8 million in February 2016 by Vinay Rama.

Designed by Shulman + Associates, The Miami Marriott Courtyard will have 270 hotel rooms and a rooftop bar.

40 Story Courtyard Marriott Coming To Miami

After being purchased for $8 million in February 2016, a 40 story Courtyard Marriott Hotel is being planned at 511 NE 15th Street, according to The Next Miami. 

The site is located next to the old Miami Herald Building and is on a lot size of 11,700 square feet.

The hotel will have no parking, but rise 580 feet with 270 hotel rooms. The glass exterior will have  a colorful façade.

The building was designed by Shulman + Associates.

The owner of the Courtyard Marriott Downtown, AVR Realty, is listing the hotel for sale through CBRE. 

The recently renovated hotel has 233 rooms and rises to 13 stories. The hotel sits on 1.1 acres and zoning in the area allows up to 1,070 condo units. 

The building is located next to the iconic Miami Tower and the Montage at Met 3, which is currently being constructed. 

Bids will be submitted in October and an official sale is expected by November.
