Renderings Of 53 Story The Edge On Brickell Revealed

Two lots in Brickell located on the Miami River at 39 and 55 SW Miami Ave were sold last year for $18.3 million and purchased by the entity Brickellview 3114 LLC.

The previous owner, Rafael Aragones, planned on building a 55 story residential condo with 127 units called Edge on Brickell and even built a sales center on the site. However, those plans were abandoned with the sales of the two lots.

Brickellview 3114 LLC revealed plans for a new building, now called The Edge on Brickell, according to SFBJ. The 53 story tower will have 70 residential units with 200 hotel rooms and 182 parking spaces. A restaurant will be located on the ground floor and a pedestrian walkway along the Miami River.

The building will be designed by architect Kobi Karp.

Rockne Krebs' The Miami Line To Light Up Again

The neon lights that used to light over The Miami River called "The Miami Line", may finally light again in the next few weeks, according to The Miami New Times.

The neon lights on the Metrorail tracks are the work of artist Rockne Krebs, who was commissioned in 1984 to produce the work for the Miami-Dade Art in Public Places Program. Initially, the lights only spanned 300 feet, but was later extended to 1,540 feet.

When "The Miami Line" first debuted, the city was not known for its lighting and that section of town was very inactive. Over the years, Miami/Brickell has grown to include many colorful buildings such as The Miami Tower and Brickell World Plaza, that only enhance the city, especially at night.

Brickell Heights Has Topped Off

The luxury condo Brickell Heights by The Related Group has topped off. The two towers with 690 residential units is expected to be be completed early next year.

Brickell Heights is just one of many condos that has continued to transform the Brickell skyline over the past three years.

HSBC Largest Tenant At Four Seasons Miami

HSBC signed a new lease that has 90,000 square feet of space, thus making it the largest tenant at the Four Seasons Miami, according to The Real Deal.

The 70 story hotel, residential and office building located at 1441 Brickell Avenue was built in 2003 and is currently Miami's largest skyscraper, but will soon be surpassed by the under construction Panorama Tower on Brickell Bay Drive.

Brickell Ten Construction Updates

Brickell Ten just topped out when we last looked in September 2015.

The 22 story condo in West Brickell is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

Miami City Self Storage Construction Update

Miami City Self Storage in West Brickell

Across from the recently topped out Broadstone Brickell, construction is continuing on a 17,715 square foot lot which will be a Miami City Self Storage.

Construction began on the building in September 2015.

Le Parc at Brickell Construction Photos

Construction at Le Parc at Brickell is progressing in West Brickell since we last looked in November 2015.

The 12 story condo is developed by ALTA Developers and Stretegic Properties Group. Le Parc at Brickell was designed by architect Luis Revuelta topped out in June 2015.
