More details have emerged on Chetrit's Group Miami Riverwalk from Miami Today.

Since announcing their plans to build four 60 story towers, which will include 1,762 units, 246 hotel rooms on 6.5 acres of land, Chetrit Group has bought land around the area including the bar Finnegans on the River.

Miami architectural firm Kobi Karp is designing the project, which will be done in 5 phases. Included under phase 3 will be the addition of a public riverwalk that will connect to the condo Latitude on the River, on the other side of the bridge. Also interesting is that they will be creating a new street in the middle of the whole project.

The project is located on an emerging part of town that is just east of I-95, a few blocks west of Brickell City Centre and across the street from a Walgreens that is soon to begin construction

ExMiami is reporting that a lawsuit between Marc Roberts, who manages 1000 Biscayne Miami LLC and BP gas station has been resolved.

Roberts had agreed to buy the gas station for $26.6 million in 2007, but failed to close the deal in 2010.

One Thousand Museum developers under the 1000 Biscayne Tower LLC company can now close on the station with a sale price between $27 million and $60 million.

One Thousand Museum is designed by world renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Construction is expected to start by the end of 2014 or early 2015.

Riverwalk East Developments, led by Alfredo Coto, has won the bid to receive prime waterfront land on the Miami River, according to SFBJ.

Bids for the land were expected to exceed $100 million and Riverwalk East Developments won the bid with a price of $125 million.

Developer Ugo Columbo was selling the 1.25 acre land at 300 Biscayne Boulevard after plans were abandoned to build a second tower.

The site is approved for a 609 foot building, but could expand to reflect the Miami 21 code.

Located near the western edge of Brickell, Capital at Brickell was supposed to consist of two towers that would be residential, office and retail space. The two towers were going to rise 53 and 57 stories. However, the buildings fell victim to the recession in 2008 and construction never got started.

While the 2.78 acre land sat empty for a few years, two Mexican Developers, Cabi Developers and Brickell Central were fighting for control of the land.

In 2013, CBRE began marketing the site for sale. Because of the location and the rapid development in Brickell the land was expected to exceed $100 million for bids. The current site is approved for 1.3 million square feet, but under the 2010 Miami 21 zoning code the new developer is allowed to expand to 3.2 million square feet.

The land is still for sale and is currently listed under CBRE's available listings.
