The popular restaurant in Brickell, Perricone's Marketplace & Café, located at 15 SE 10th St, has been sold for $16.18 million, according to the SFBJ.

Owner Steve Perricone originally leased the land from the Allen Morris Company in 1994 and eventually purchased the site on August 1, 1997 for $725,000.

The 10,965 square foot lot was purchased by citizenM Hotels with plans to redevelop the site in the future. Part of the agreement was a five year lease for Perricone's Marketplace & Café to keep it in the same location and a possible inclusion in the new development. Perricone's Marketplace & Café is located across the street from the under construction Brickell Flatiron.

Not included in the sale is the 7,780 square foot Allen Morris Brickell Park which was donated to the City of Miami on November 15, 1974.
