Hyde Midtown Suites & Residences Will Have Groundbreaking Today

Today at 10am, Hyde Midtown Suites & Residences is having its groundbreaking at 3401 NE 1st Avenue. The project is nearly 70% sold.

The condo/hotel is being developed by sbe and also with The Related Group and Dezer Development. Hyde Midtown will have 60 hotel rooms and 410 residential units.

The 32 story building is designed by Arquitectonica with the Rockwell Group doing the interiors. Moss Construction is the general contractor.

Miami City Self Storage Coming To West Brickell

Miami City Self Storage in West Brickell

In the ever changing West Brickell, a self storage facility is coming to the neigborhood.

The building is located at 270 SW 11th St across the street from the under construction Broadstone Brickell.

The 17,715 square foot lot was purchased in August 2014 for $3.5 million. Previously on the site were single family homes and an multi-family building that was built in 1926.

The storage facility is designed by Blitstein Design Associates who also designed the under construction East Coast Building on the Miami River.

The lots have been cleared and construction will begin shortly on the project.

Retail Building In Wynwood Sold For $5.5M

A 8,388 square foot building at 2640 NW 5th Avenue in Wynwood has sold for $5.46 million, according to The Real Deal.

The buyer is 5th Avenue Wynwood Partners LLC.

The building is located down the street from the 7 story live/work building 250 Wynwood.

SoMa at Brickell Close To Completion

The exterior of SoMa at Brickell has been completely painted and landscaping has started on the 8 story condo in West Brickell.

The building is very close to completion after starting construction in early 2014 and will open in the Fall.

Previously on the site was an abandoned apartment complex that sat empty for several months.

Brickell Ten Tops Out

When we last looked at Brickell Ten, construction was just at the halfway mark. Now the condo in West Brickell has topped off.

Workers are building the rooftop pool and lanai that will have an outdoor bar and BBQ area.

The project started going vertical at the beginning of this year.

700 Edgewater Development Begins Demolition In Edgewater

Demolition is happening in emerging Edgewater district of Miami on the block of NE 26th Street and NE 5th Avenue next to the water. The land is owned by Russian developer Oleg Baybakov who purchased a 58 unit apartment unit for $21.5 million last year. The 12 story apartment is located at 700 NE 26th Street and is in the process of being torn down as seen in the photo below. Baybakov has spent almost $39 million assembling property in this area.

Our Twitter and Instagram feed are visible on the right sidebar, so please give us a follow and give us a like on Facebook. Also, please subscribe to our news updates, which we only send out once every month or two and we do not share your email address with anyone.

If you are a fan of our photos, we have added the ability to purchase prints, frames and plexiglass photos of all sizes through our online store in the locations tab on the left sidebar.
