Panorama Tower Set To Open In March

When we last looked at Panorama Tower in August 2017, all the cranes were removed from the building.

In December 2016, the 85 story tower reached the 67th floor where we showed the 360 views from that height. In April 2017, the building topped off and again we showed the views from the top of the tallest building South of Manhattan at 868 feet.

Panorama Tower is scheduled to open March of this year with 821 rental units and a Hyatt Centric hotel on the first 17 floors.

Construction on Panorama Tower began June 2014 after the demolition of the parking garage on the site.

3200 Biscayne Lot Sold For $5.2M

A .37 acre lot located at 3200 Biscayne has sold for $5.24 million, according to The Real Deal.

The seller is TBD Group and was purchased by Green Circle Development.

The site is zoned for a 36 story tower.

Downtown Miami Macy's To Close

The Downtown Miami Macy's located at 22 East Flagler Street will be closing within the next 8-12 weeks, according to The Miami Herald.

The Macy's was originally a Burdines department store with the existing store on the East side of North Miami Avenue being built in 1936 by architects E.L. Robertson and J.R. Weber. The lot across the street was purchased in 1946 and again designed by E.L. Robertson and J.R. Weber in the Streamline Moderne design that connected the two buildings by a three level bridge over North Miami Avenue.

The two buildings on 72,000 square feet of land created 467,158 square feet of interior space.

After changing the name to Macy's from Burdines in 2005, the buildings were last purchased for $15.55 million in 2013 by Aetna Realty Group.

The two lots are zoned for two 80 story buildings.

Brickell Flatiron Construction Progress Photos

Brickell Flatiron has reached the 21st floor of the 64 story luxury condominium in Brickell with construction starting on the 22nd floor.

A year ago, the concrete pour was just about to begin.

Construction is now rising on the residential tower portion of the building with a floor per week.

The curves of the building, designed by architect Luis Revuelta are more noticeable as the tower is getting higher.

One Thousand Museum Construction Progress Photos

One Thousand Museum continues to rise and has reached the 60th floor of construction and is only 2 floors away from topping off. When we last looked in November 2017, construction was on the 57th floor.

The Zaha Hadid designed tower is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Canvas Condo Construction Progress Photos

Located in the Arts & Entertainment district, the 37 story Canvas Condo is taking shape since we last looked in September.

One of the cranes has been removed from the site and an illuminated Canvas sign sits atop the South side of the rooftop. The rooftop will have a 6,000 square feet indoor/outdoor restaurant with views of the city.

The building topped off in August of this year.
