Melo Group Adds To Downtown 5th Miami Assemblage

Melo Group has added to a their Downtown Miami assemblage with a $10.75 million purchase of property at 500 NE 1st Avenue, according to The Real Deal. 

A year ago, Melo Group purchased a 45,433 square foot lot next to the Christ Fellowship Baptist Church for $10 million, which brings its total purchase to $23 million. 

Melo Group is planning on building Downtown 5th, which will be two luxury apartment towers at approximately 50 stories. 

Next to Downtown 5th will be Okan Tower, which will be a the 890 foot tower with 389 condo-hotel units and will break ground by the end of 2018.

Construction Begins at The Estates At Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach

Construction has begun on The Estates At Acqualina located at 17901 Collins Avenue on 5.6 acres in Sunny Isles Beach. 

Rising 649 feet with 154 residential units, The Estates At Acqualina is being developed by Trump Group and designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates. 

Groundbreaking began in May of this year and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.

Construction continues at Midtown 8 after topping off in April and going vertical in July 2017.

All of the windows are installed as exterior painting should begin soon.

Mr. C Hotel Coconut Grove Construction Updates

The newly branded Mr. C Coconut Grove located at 2988 McFarlane Road is making progress and gearing up for a Winter 2018 opening date. 

All the windows have been installed as painting begins on the exterior of the building and work continues on the rooftop pool.

Midtown 6 Reaches 16th Floor Of Construction

After starting construction in February, construction on Midtown 6 has reached the 16th floor. The building will top off at 32 stories and have 447 rental units.

Midtown 6 was designed by bKL Architecture and developed by Magellan Development Group and Midtown Development.

The 13 story rental building, Quadro Miami, located at 3900 Biscayne Boulevard is under construction and should be completed by the end of the year.

Developed by Alta Developers and designed by Behar Font & Partners, Quadro Miami will have 198 units with 28,000 square feet of commercial space. A construction loan of $58 million was secured July 2017.

Quadro Miami is located on site of the former WPLG Channel 10 Studios.

200 East Flagler Building Sold For $19.75M

200 East Flagler St

A five story building in Downtown Miami, located at 200 East Flagler St has been sold for $19.75 million, according to The Miami Herald.

The 46,912 square foot building, which was originally a Walgreens, was built in 1937 and was purchased by Stambul. Stambul also purchased the Old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse Building for $11 million in 2014. 

The building will be converted into high end restaurants, retail and entertainment venues.
