After beginning construction in March, Monad Terrace is now going vertical in Miami Beach.

Two cranes have been added to the site, which will eventually be two towers at 7 stories and 14 stories with only 59 residential units.

Construction is expected to be completed third quarter 2019.

After topping off in November 2017, L'Atelier Miami Beach is getting closer to completed by the end of the year. 

Much of the exterior has been painted since we last looked in June and the restoration of the original Golden Sands Hotel exterior is underway as the façade is being painted and windows have been installed. 

At 18 stories, L'Atelier was designed by Luis Revuelta and developed by SMG Development and W Capital Group.

Most of the windows and balconies have been installed on the 18 story condo L'Atelier Miami Beach after topping off November 2017.

Work is still continuing on the exterior of the old Golden Sands Hotel as the façade is being restored.

When we looked at Collins Park Hotel in February 2017, the buildings had been gutted and only the outer shell had remained for the new construction. 

Collins Park Hotel consists of six buildings that were built between 1938 and 1953 on 1.65 acres of land at 2000 Park Avenue in Miami Beach. The hotel will have 296 rooms and have all of the rooftops connected. 

Collins Park Hotel is being developed by Chetrit Group and Kobi Karp is the project architect.

When we last looked at the Miami Beach Convention Center construction in January 2017, the outer façade was stripped and work was being done on the expansion. 

The $620 million renovation and expansion will eventually have 1.4 million square feet of space. The new design on the the outside of the building is virtually complete, giving the building a modern look.

Although the building is open, completion is expected by the end of the year.

The abandoned Oceanside Extended Care Center in Miami Beach located at 550 9th St, could be covered into a hotel if new zoning plans are approved, according the The SFBJ.

The 6 story building built in 1966 was purchased for $17.63 million in February by Simon Nemni. 

New plans would have 110 hotel rooms, rooftop pool deck and 29 parking spaces.
