830 Brickell Office Tower Going Vertical

The 724 foot office tower 830 Brickell is starting to go vertical, according to The Miami Herald.

830 Brickell is being developed by OKO Group and Cain International and will be the second tallest office tower in Miami after the Southeast Financial Center when it is completed in 2021.

Demolition began at the site two years ago in January 2018 with foundation work beginning in March 2019.

OKO Group has received a $243.3 million construction loan for the 57 story tower Missoni Baia in Edgewater, according to The Real Deal.

Missoni Baia will have 247 residential units and will rise 649 feet as construction began November 2017. The parking garage started going vertical September 2018 with work on the tower portion starting in April of this year.

OKO Group has also started construction on the 53 story office tower 830 Brickell located next to the SLS Lux Brickell and across the street from Brickell City Centre.

The office tower 830 Brickell has secured $300 million in construction financing.

The building will rise 53 stories and top off at 732 feet.

830 Brickell was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill and developed by OKO Group.

The buildings on the site were demolished January 2018 and foundation work started earlier this year.

830 Brickell is located next to the SLS Lux Brickell and across the street from Brickell City Centre.

The under construction 50 story 830 Brickell located at 830 SE 1st Avenue has been approved by the Urban Development Review Board.

Developed by OKO Group and designed by Adrian Smith of Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, 830 Brickell will have 490,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of retail and an indoor/outdoor restaurant on level 53.

WeWork will occupy 10 floors in the building.

Foundation work is beginning on the tower portion of the 57 story Missoni Baia in Edgewater as work on the parking garage continues.

The parking garage started going vertical in September 2018 as initial work started November 2017.

Missoni Baia will eventually rise 649 feet and have 249 residential units.

The building is being developed by OKO Group, which they are also developing the under construction 830 Brickell Plaza site that will be 834 feet.

Foundation work continues at the 830 Brickell Plaza site in Brickell next to the SLS Lux where WeWork will occupy 10 floors in the office tower.

The 834 foot height of the building was approved by the FAA and the top corners of the building will reach 793 feet, mostly likely giving it a pointed top.

Construction is expected to be completed by 2021.
