After beginning construction in January, two cranes at Miami Plaza have been installed and construction is starting to go vertical.
The 35 story rental tower will have 425 units and rise 370 feet.
Miami Plaza is being developed by Melo Group who also have the nearby and nearly completed two tower Art Plaza.
Miami’s Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board has approved the rezone of Melo Group's Miami Plaza project, according to The Real Deal.
The Miami Plaza site would be 36 stories and is located next to the under construction Square Station, also by Melo Group, which is about to top off soon.
Also, getting approval from Miami City Commissioners was Art Plaza, located at 58 NE 14th Street and will be two towers at 34 floors and 667 units. There will be 15,000 square feet of commercial space and 946 parking spaces.
