Construction has started at Beach House 8 on Miami Beach. They are currently on the 5th floor of the 10 story building that will only hold 8 units.

Since beginning construction in October 2014, workers have been preparing the site to get ready for the foundation pour.
A crane has been installed at the 1451 Brickell Ave. address meaning that the building will start to go vertical soon.
The Carlos Ott designed building will rise 57 stories and have 180 residential units that will overlook Brickell and Biscayne Bay.
Units in the building will have 10-14 foot ceilings with 6-8 foot terraces.
Moriarty Construction is the contractor for Echo Brickell.
8th St. Metromover Station
Since announcing that the 8th St. metro mover station would close for one year back in August 2014, construction is moving along.
When the metromover station is complete, riders will have the option to continue along or get off at the station that will lead directly into Brickell City Centre.
Swire is paying the cost for the renovations and working directly with Miami-Dade County Transit on the station.

Construction has been going on for awhile now at Faena District on Miami Beach, which will include Faena House, Faena Residences, Faena Hotel and Faena Forum. Curbed Miami has the renderings of Faena Versailles here. The Faena Versailles, which used to be the Versailles Hotel will be restored. Faena Residences will include the restoration of what used to be the Saxony Hotel.

Brickell Ten has reached the 6th floor of construction on the 22 story building located in West Brickell. A crane and foundation pour began in January of this year, with construction beginning in November of 2014.
On the neighboring lot to the West is Broadstone Brickell, which just began construction.
After opening the Whole Foods on the ground level earlier this year, construction still continued above as the Monarc at Met 3 just topped off, according to Curbed Miami.
The building has reached 32 stories with an 11 story parking garage underneath.

SLS Brickell
Since our last update on the SLS Brickell in October 2014, the building has reached the 30th floor. The building will top out at 52 stories and will have 450 residential units, plus feature an SLS hotel.
Construction on the parking levels and the pool deck have started since our last update.
Construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2016.
