The climate ribbon at Brickell City Centre is starting to look more like the renderings with the glass being installed on the ribbon. The initial installation on the climate ribbon began in November 2014.
The $30 million climate ribbon is designed to keep shoppers cool from the Miami heat while emitting natural light, but using the breeze of Biscayne Bay to keep people cool.
Parts of the climate ribbon extend over the skywalk on 7th St. and South Miami Avenue.

The Crimson - situated in Edgewater between Icon Bay and Bay House will be the last of the three condos to be finished in the area.

According to The Next Miami, over 95% of the units have been sold in condo.
The condo is located on the edge of Biscayne Bay across from the under construction Paraiso Bay from Related Group.
Since reaching the halfway mark of construction in January and topping out in March, the East Coast Building is on schedule to complete in time.

On February 10, construction began at the Miami Marine Stadium site to improve the grounds around the stadium. Workers have already removed a lot of the trees and fencing on the site. The price for the grounds renovations, which will include event space and a park will cost $18 million.
The Miami International Boat Show will be held at the stadium grounds starting in 2016 on is on a year to year lease.
Miami Commissioners are looking for an architectural and engineering firm to design the stadium restoration, which would come at a cost of about $37.8 million, according to the Miami Herald.
The Village of Key Biscayne is suing the City of Miami and the Boat Show for fear that events held at the stadium will only increase traffic going in and out of Key Biscayne.

Icon Bay in Edgewater
When driving through the Edgewater district of Miami, the Icon Bay stands out as it towers over the other buildings in the area. Just below the building is Icon Bay Park, which Related Group donated to the City of Miami.
Icon Bay began closings in March of this year and should be ready to open soon.
The Arquitectonica designed building is 42 stories and also has 2 tennis courts on site.
