When we last looked at Brickell Ten, construction was just at the halfway mark. Now the condo in West Brickell has topped off. 

Workers are building the rooftop pool and lanai that will have an outdoor bar and BBQ area. 

The project started going vertical at the beginning of this year.

700 Edgewater Development Begins Demolition In Edgewater

Demolition is happening in emerging Edgewater district of Miami on the block of NE 26th Street and NE 5th Avenue next to the water. The land is owned by Russian developer Oleg Baybakov who purchased a 58 unit apartment unit for $21.5 million last year. The 12 story apartment is located at 700 NE 26th Street and is in the process of being torn down as seen in the photo below. Baybakov has spent almost $39 million assembling property in this area.

One Ocean is continuing construction quickly in the rapidly developing South of Fifth district on Miami Beach. 

Developed by The Related Group, the luxury condominium will have 46 residential units with retail and restaurants on the ground floor.

Glass on South Beach is progressing quickly and looks to be only a month or two before it is completed and ready for residents to move in.

Since we last looked at Glass in June, the film on all the glass has been removed and the landscaping in the front has been finished. 

Groundbreaking began in August 2013.

In the South of Fifth district of Miami Beach, Marea appears to be completed and ready for occupancy. 

The luxury condominium by The Related Group and designed by Sieger Suarez broke ground in October 2013.

Regatta Park Set To Open Soon

Regatta Park was initially supposed to be open on September 7, Labor Day, but the park is almost completed and should be ready for the public in the next few weeks. 

The three story Dockmaster building is already open and offers great views of Biscayne Bay, Downtown Miami and Coconut Grove from the top floor of the building. The old Dockmaster building, which used to be apart of Pan-Am is going to be demolished in the next week or so. The next phase for Regatta Park will be the revamp of the parking lot adjacent to the park on the East side.

Update: The Grand Opening of the park is Saturday, September 26 starting at 11am

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Near Completion

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach

Nearing completion in Hollywood Beach is Margaritaville. The 17 story resort with 349 rooms cost $175 million to build. 

On October 1, Margaritaville will begin taking reservations with a special nightly rate of $197.70. Jimmy Buffett himself visited the property last week.
