Caoba Miami Worldcenter Now Completed

Caoba Miami Worldcenter, located at 698 NE 1st Ave in Downtown Miami as part of the 27 acre Miami Worldcenter is now open and residents will begin moving in at the end of the month.

The building has 444 rental units the span from 500 to 1300 square feet.

Caoba started to go vertical February 2017 before topping off a year ago in January 2018.

The tower is located across the street from the under construction Paramount Miami Worldcenter and MiamiCentral Station.

Day And Night Photos Of The Completed Wynwood Garage

The Wynwood Garage located at 3660 NW 3rd Avenue in Wynwood is now completed since beginning construction in May 2017.

The 8 story garage was developed by Goldman Properties and designed by Faulders Studio. The garage has 428 parking spaces, with 20,500 square feet of retail and 30,000 square feet of Class A office space.

The Wynwood Garage lights up at night to feature the non repeating patterns on the façade of the building.

Midtown 8 Getting Closer To Completion

After topping off in April 2018, the 28 story Midtown 8 is getting closer to completion as the final touches are being done the the rental building.

The pool and amenities is nearly completed with landscaping added.

The Stantec designed building started going vertical in July 2017 and will have 387 rental units with 29,549 square feet of retail.

TBT - PortMiami Tunnel at Night Photos

TBT (May 26, 2014) - In May 2014, the PortMiami Tunnel opened for business after costing $1 billion to complete. The tunnel was built from Watson Island to the Port of Miami to give trucks a direct access to the Port and not have to go through the streets of Downtown Miami.

Last week the PortMiami Tunnel had it's opening ceremony, which was dedicated by Gov. Rick Scott. (This can be read here)

Recently, the Arquitectonica designed portal entrance has been lit at night with vibrant red lightning on the front and side of the structure which there is no mistaking when driving over the MacArthur Causeway.

The $1 billion PortMiami Tunnel is expected to be open for trucks and traffic sometime this week. Every day that contractors are not finished by the completion date they will be fined $115,000.

*Update* The PortMiami Tunnel is experiencing delays and won't be open until Mid-June.

AC Hotel By Marriott In Midtown Miami Tops Off

The under construction AC Hotel By Marriott in Midtown Miami has topped off after breaking ground April 2018.

The 7 story hotel will have 153 hotel rooms and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

The Kobi Karp designed AC Hotel is being developed by Aztec Group, 3H Group of Tennessee and Arti Hersi Inc.

Midtown 6 Tops Off At 32 Stories in Midtown Miami

Midtown 6 has topped off at 32 stories in Midtown Miami.

Construction began almost a year ago in February 2018.

With 447 rental units, Midtown 6 is expected to be competed before the end of the year.

Art Plaza West Tower Tops Off

Rising very quickly is the two story Art Plaza in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami. The East Tower topped off at 34 stories in November while the West Tower recently reached the 34th floor.

A year ago at this time, foundation work was beginning on the site after the previous buildings were demolished on the site. In March 2018, the towers were starting to go vertical, starting with the East Tower.

The Melo Group developed Art Plaza is expected to be completed in mid 2019.
