The Optimum in Coconut Grove
The 5 story The Optimum in Coconut Grove is getting closer to completion since we last looked at the project in October 2018.
Located at 3480 Main Hwy, The Optimum is next to the abandoned Coconut Grove Playhouse and the restaurant Greenstreet.
The building started going vertical December 2017 and topped off June 2018.
Rise Brickell City Centre Topped Off
TBT (January 30, 2015) - 4 years ago Rise Brickell City Centre topped off after the East Hotel and Reach Brickell City Centre would eventually top off in March 2015. Brickell City Centre would eventually be completed by November 2016.

Since The East Hotel topped off in December, Rise Brickell City Centre is the second of the three towers to top off.
The 390 unit residential condo will have units that vary from 980 square feet to 3,200 square feet.
The balconies and windows are being installed on the lower portion of the condo.
Reach Brickell City Centre will be next condo to top off and that should happen by the end of February.

One Cocowalk Construction
After starting to go vertical in December 2018, a crane has been installed at One Cocowalk as vertical construction continues on the 5 story Class A office building.
Demolition on the Eastern portion of Cocowalk started May 2018 with the main rotunda going down August 2018.
One Cocowalk has signed the coworking company Spaces, as an anchor tenant in the new building that will occupy 42,883 square feet of space.
Construction is expected to be completed first quarter 2020.

AMLI Residential's Midtown Miami
AMLI Residential's Midtown Miami is rising quickly in Midtown Miami as the South Tower has reached the 5th floor and the North Tower has reached the 7th floor of construction.
When completed the 6.6 acre site will have over 700 rental units with the South Tower reaching 8 stories and the North Tower reaching 12 stories.
Site work began in May 2018 and starting going vertical October 2018.
Foundation Work at Miami Plaza
Foundation work has started at Miami Plaza located at 1502 NE Miami PL in the Arts & Entertainment District.
Developed by Melo Group, Miami Plaza will rise 35 stories at 370 feet with 425 rental units.
Melo Group also developed the nearby Square Station and the under construction Art Plaza.
830 Brickell Office Site
WeWork has signed a lease to reserve 10 floors of the soon to be under construction 830 Brickell offfice site, according to The Real Deal.
Demolition began on the site at 830 SE 1st Avenue next to the SLS Lux Brickell a year ago. The last remaining building on the site, Chicken Kitchen, was recently demolished and foundation work has started.
Developed by OKO Group, 830 Brickell will be a 834 tall office tower that is expected to completed in early 2021.
Brickell Flatiron Topped Off
Brickell Flatiron has topped off at 64 stories as the building reaches its final height of 736 feet.
In April 2018, Brickell Flatiron just surpassed the halfway mark of construction at 32 stories. A year ago, construction reached the 21st floor as the construction passed the parking levels and 19th floor amenities deck.
Brickell Flatiron is being developed by CMC Group and designed by Luis Revuelta.
The building is expected to be completed July/August of this year.
