Bailout Of The Frost Museum Of Science Approved
Frost Museum of Science
On April 5, Miami-Dade County Commissioners approved a $49 million bailout to finish construction on the Frost Museum of Science, according to The Miami Herald.
The Frost Museum of Science is located in Museum Park next to the Pérez Art Museum of Miami.

Beach House 8 Construction Updates (Photos)
The 10 story Beach House 8 on Miami Beach is coming close to completion. The building only has 8 units and all the units are sold out.
Beach House 8 is developed by Morabito Properties and CMC Group. Arquitectonica is the architect.

Since we last looked at the $1 billion Faena District between 32nd and 35th Collins Avenue on Miami Beach in October 2015, Faena House and Faena Hotel have opened.
At the front of Faena House, designed by architect Foster + Partners, is a sculpture by artist Jeff Koons called "Coloring Book." The penthouse at Faena House was sold for a record $60 million, but has since been put on the market for an asking price of $73 million.

Miami City Self Storage in West Brickell
Across from the recently topped out Broadstone Brickell, construction is continuing on a 17,715 square foot lot which will be a Miami City Self Storage.
Construction began on the building in September 2015.

Construction at Le Parc at Brickell is progressing in West Brickell since we last looked in November 2015.
The 12 story condo is developed by ALTA Developers and Stretegic Properties Group. Le Parc at Brickell was designed by architect Luis Revuelta topped out in June 2015.
700 Edgewater Sales Center To Open Next Week

700 Edgewater Site
A sales center has been built at the 700 Edgewater site located at 700 NE 26th and is expected to open next week.
Developer OKO Group has spent $39 million assembling land in the area and began demolishing houses on the site in September 2015. The 12 story Electra on the Bay was demolished with an implosion in October 2015.
According to The Next Miami, a 649 foot tower was approved by the FAA and plans should be revealed soon.
Update: The condo will be branded by fashion house Missoni and will have 146 units from two to four bedrooms, according to The Real Deal.
