Perricone's Marketplace & Café Site in Brickell

The popular restaurant in Brickell, Perricone's Marketplace & Café, located at 15 SE 10th St, has been sold for $16.18 million, according to the SFBJ. 

Owner Steve Perricone originally leased the land from the Allen Morris Company in 1994 and eventually purchased the site on August 1, 1997 for $725,000. 

The 10,965 square foot lot was purchased by citizenM Hotels with plans to redevelop the site in the future. Part of the agreement was a five year lease for Perricone's Marketplace & Café to keep it in the same location and a possible inclusion in the new development. Perricone's Marketplace & Café is located across the street from the under construction Brickell Flatiron. 

Not included in the sale is the 7,780 square foot Allen Morris Brickell Park which was donated to the City of Miami on November 15, 1974.

 

1900 Biscayne Site Sold For 18.4M

1900 Biscayne Blvd Site in Edgewater

A one acre site located at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater has been sold for 18.4 million, according to The Real Deal. 

The seller is Atlas Capital Group and was purchased by Enrique Manhard. Enrique Manhard also purchased an entire block in December 2015 between NW 2nd Ave and NE 2nd CT, but later sold it to ASRR Capital for $33 million in June of this year.

The 1900 Biscayne Boulevard Site is approved for a 36 story tower with 429 residential units.

Brickell Flatiron Under Construction

Brickell Flatiron has reached the 15th floor of construction as it quickly approaches the club levels on the 17th and 18th floors. 

Designed by Luis Revuelta and developed by CMC Group, the 64 story Brickell Flatiron broke ground in March 2016 and is expected to be completed by Summer 2019.

Canvas Condo in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami is progressing since topping off in last month in August

Developed by NR Investments, the 37 story building with 513 residential units will have an indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge with 6,000 square feet and ground level retail.

On September 5th, Miami's Historic Preservation Board denied to make the Office In The Grove a historic landmark in a 7-2 vote.

Built in 1972 and designed by Kenneth Treister, the Office In The Grove was less than 50 years old and not of exceptional significance to be considered. 

The building will most likely be demolished in the near future for a new tower.

Rising quickly in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami is the rental building Square Station.

With two towers and 710 rental units, both towers have topped off at 34 stories. In April, construction on the towers were at 13 floors. Construction began on Square Station in October 2016 and is expected to be completed by early 2018.

As Paramount Miami Worldcenter continues to rise in Downtown Miami, another project across the street, 7th Street Apartments, is past the half way mark of construction that will eventually reach 43 stories.

The parking garage of the building is going vertical.
