Duffy's Sports Grill In Cocowalk Under Demolition

Demolition is underway at the Duffy's Sports Grill in Coconut Grove at Cocowalk.

Duffy's first opened in the Fall of 2013 as a popular place to watch sporting events in Central Grove before finally closing at the beginning of 2018.

In its place will be One Cocowalk, which will be a 5 story Class A office building with 73,000 square feet. There will be four levels of office space, ground floor retail and a rooftop terrace.

Construction has also started on the Western portion of the new revamped Cocowalk.

Cocowalk was purchased in May 2015 for $87.5 million.

8K Timelapse of the tallest building South of New York City - Panorama Tower - overlooking Brickell at dusk. The hotel Hyatt Centric opened last weekend on the first 18 floors of the building while the rest of the tower is scheduled to open in June.

Foundation Work Continues At Aston Martin Residences Site

After breaking ground in October 2017, foundation work still continues at the Aston Martin Residences site along the entrance of the Miami River.

At 66 stories, Aston Martin Residences will have 390 residential units.

Brickell Flatiron Surpasses Halfway Mark

Brickell Flatiron has passed the halfway mark of 32 floors of the 64 story condominium in Brickell.

The exterior of the building is now being painted white and the balconies and glass are now being installed on the lower residential units.

In March 2017 Brickell Flatiron was s tarting to go vertical.

Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2019.

Hyatt Centric At Panorama Tower To Open Today

The Hyatt Centric at Panorama Tower is scheduled to open today in Brickell.

With 202 hotel rooms, Hyatt Centric will occupy the lower portion of the 85 story tower, which will be the tallest building South of New York City.

Work is still being completed on the 19th floor pool deck and the apartments units above.

The Optimum In Coconut Grove Reaches 4th Floor

Since starting to go vertical in December 2017, The Optimum in Coconut Grove has reached the 4th floor of construction.

The 5 story office building will have a 6,500 square foot rooftop restaurant and is located next to the abandoned Coconut Grove Playhouse. Demolition on the site started in July 2017.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
