TBT (March 11, 2019) - A year ago, the under construction Elysee in Edgewater reached the 28th floor. The building topped off at the beginning of the year and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.

Elysee continues to rise quickly in Edgewater as the 57 story tower reaches the 28th floor of construction.

When we last looked at the building in December 2018, construction was on the 19th floor and the first glass was being installed. Elysee started going vertical in June 2018 after the foundation pour.

The parking garage is now starting to go vertical on the West side of the building.

Elysee is expected to be completed 2020.

TBT - Rise Brickell City Centre Tops Off Today

TBT (January 30, 2015) - 5 years ago today Rise Brickell City Centre topped off. Brickell City Centre would be completed in the Fall of 2016.

Since The East Hotel topped off in December, Rise Brickell City Centre is the second of the three towers to top off.

The 390 unit residential condo will have units that vary from 980 square feet to 3,200 square feet.

The balconies and windows are being installed on the lower portion of the condo.

Reach Brickell City Centre will be next condo to top off and that should happen by the end of February.

The under construction 57 story Elysee in Edgewater has topped off at 649 feet to become the tallest building in the area.

The building has only 100 residential units and stated to go vertical in June 2018 and reached the 19th floor a little over a year ago.

Elysee is designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Two Roads Development.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

A 20 story condo called Mr. C Residences is coming to Coconut Grove located at 2655 South Bayshore Drive, according to The Miami Herald.

With 151 residential units, Mr. Residences will be developed by Terra Group and Mr. C. A Mr. C Hotel was recently opened at 2988 McFarland Road, also in Coconut Grove.

The condo is across the street from the now under construction Regatta Harbour.

Mr. C Residences is being designed by Arquitectonica and interiors by Meyer Davis.

Construction is expected to start second quarter 2020.

Another luxury condo under construction in Surfside is FENDI Chateau Residences, which is already topped out at 12 stories and will have 58 residential units. Resident units range from 3,325 to 7,000 square feet with 10 foot ceilings. There are also 3 penthouse units with private swimming pools and sundecks.

Two twin 60 story towers called Island Bay located at 700 NE 24th St in Edgewater have been proposed.

The towers rising 648 feet will be developed by Melo Group and designed by Arquitectonica with 783 residential units.

Island Bay is located next to Biscayne Bay and the under construction Elysee, also designed by Arquitectonica.

There will be a 50 foot set back from the water to create a public walking space along the bay.

The 24 story AC Hotel By Marriott & Element By Westin in West Brickell is now under construction at 115 SW 8th Street.

The building will have the two hotels with 264 rooms combined and a rooftop bar and terrace.

The site was purchased by Tony Cho and Robert Finvarb for $18.4 million in January 2017. Previous on the site was the El Eden Motel, which was demolished in December 2017.
