Construction on Brickell Heights
Next to Mary Brickell Village, the two towers of Brickell Heights are becoming distinct since our last update. The foundation has been poured and a few floors have been added on each tower.
Related Group just received a $161 million construction loan for the project, according to SFBJ.
Brickell Heights is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
Abandoned Apartment in West Brickell
Before construction began at the Broadstone Brickell site, an apartment complex sat abandoned for almost a year before they were torn down recently.
When the residents vacated, they left behind many belongings, including couches, T.V.'s and clothing.
Eventually the whole complex was boarded up before the apartments could be vandalized.
The Crimson in Edgewater
Since topping off in December 2014, The Crimson is starting to take for the 90 unit residential condo.
Located in the Edgewater district of Miami, The Crimson is expected to be completed in the Summer 2015.
The building for what used to be the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice has been demolished recently.
The City of Miami purchased the land and gave the deed to Swire Properties. Swire will get $1.6 million from the city to make improvements to the area. The land is to enhance traffic flow on South Miami Ave and 6th Street for pedestrians and vehicles.
The house at 622 South Miami Ave was recently torn down and the Frame Store has moved out of the building. It won't be too much longer until The River Oyster Bar and Bonding are gone and that whole strip comes down.
Broadstone Brickell Construction Site
After plans for Broadstone Brickell were revealed in September 2014, construction has begun on the site at 267 SW 11th St. The addition of the 372 rental condo is adding to the transformation of West Brickell from single family houses to condos.
The land was originally purchased by Miami Sunrise Properties for $13 million, but was flipped and sold for over $20 million to Alliance Residential Company in November 2014 for the 1.9 acre site.
The residential condo will rise 24 stories and Moss and Associates in the contractor for the project.
Le Parc & Atton Hotel in West Brickell
In West Brickell the construction of Le Parc at Brickell and Atton Hotels is going quickly since our last update in October 2014.
Atton Hotel is up to the 7th floor and Le Parc at Brickell is on the 5th floor of the 12 story condo.

NINE at Mary Brickell Village
Since topping out in July 2014, NINE at Mary Brickell Village will soon open after beginning construction in December 2012. The condo is the fourth to open in Brickell since the recent construction boom after MyBrickell, Brickell House and 1100 Millicento.
The 390 residential units are conveniently located directly above the shops and restaurants of Mary Brickell Village and a block away from Brickell City Centre.
