Bids Submitted To Expand Virginia Key Marina

Three bids have been submitted to the City of Miami to redevelop Virginia Key Marina, according to The Miami Herald.

Part of the bids would be to increase the wet slips from 198 to 498, build a public boat ramp and pay $3.45 million towards a 45,000 square foot public garage. The restaurant Rusty Pelican is the only part of the 53 acres that won't need to be redeveloped. The base rent will be $2.15 million a year, plus a percentage of gross sales.

Moishe Mana Purchases Another Wynwood Building

A building located at 2450 NW 5th Avenue has been purchased for $5.4 million by developer Moishe Mana, according to The Real Deal.

The building was built in 1955 and the lot size is 9,685 square foot. Mana owns more than 30 acres of land in Wynwood, including the Mana Wynwood Complex. The Complex would include a 24 story building and over 3,400 residential units.

Construction is progressing at the 85 story Panorama Tower in Brickell, which is being developed by Florida East Coast Realty. 

The residential portion of the building is now going vertical and will eventually be the tallest building in Miami.

Last week, FECR received a TCO to open 11 stories of the parking garage for Florida International University students.

2500 Biscayne has reached the 12th floor of the 20 story building in Edgewater, which will have 156 rental apartments.

The building is expected to top out by the end of March.

After a long delay preventing construction, Avant at Met Square is now going vertical in Downtown Miami. 

The project will be 42 stories with 391 residential units. 

The site is located across the street from the Epic East site which is supposed to start construction later this year.

On January 28th, Terra Group and The Related Group held an event at the Park Grove sales gallery discussing their plans and concepts for One Park Grove.

The event was curated by Terra Group President David Martin, with Chef Michael Schwartz speaking about the signature restaurant at One Park Grove and Will Meyer of Meyer Davis talking about the concepts and designs of the building. The Related Group's Carlos Rosso was also on hand and spoke about the resurgence of Coconut Grove.

Park Grove is located at 2701 South Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove and will feature three towers. The third tower, One Park Grove, will be 20 stories with 54 residential units ranging from three to five bedrooms. Pricing for the units start at $2 million.

Krystal Tower Put On Hold

A 35 story residential condo located at 530 NW 1st Court, called Krystal Tower with 153 units has been put on hold, according to SFBJ. There is a 5 story shell from the previous building that was foreclosed on. Krystal Tower began sales on November 2014.
