A Look At The Paraiso District Construction Progress

Earlier this week we showed Gran Paraiso, which is close to topping off and One Paraiso, which will be completed by the end of the year. 

In the Paraiso District, Paraiso Bay is nearly complete and is expected to open soon and topped off in July 2016. 

Both cranes have been removed from Paraiso Bayviews since we last looked in March and the tower topped off in May of this year. 

Construction is also underway on Michael Schwartz's new restaurant at the edge of the water in the Paraiso District called Amara at Paraiso. The restaurant will be 4,500 square feet and have seats for 150. Amara at Paraiso is expected to open in November.

Park Grove Under Construction

Construction is progressing at Park Grove on the two towers, Two Park Grove and the Club Residences since topping off in March. 

All of the cranes have been removed from the site and demolition has begun on the old Coconut Grove Bank, which will be the new location of the last tower - One Park Grove. One Park Grove will be a 20 story tower with 64 residential units.

Since topping off in March, the crane is being removed at the Club Residences of Park Grove. One crane has been removed from Two Park Grove with the third crane coming down soon.

A Look At The Paraiso Complex - Photos & Video

A Look At The Paraiso Complex - Photos & Video

The 11 acre Paraiso Complex in Edgewater is growing taller as the four buildings - Paraiso Bay, Gran Paraiso, One Paraiso and Paraiso Bayviews continue to top out. 

The 55 story Paraiso Bay topped out in July 2016 and is expected to be completed by this Summer. The 53 story One Paraiso is about to top off and will be completed by the end of the year. Gran Paraiso should top off in the next 3 - 5 months and will be complete by Spring 2018. Gran Paraiso will have 8 bay homes at the base of the building. The last tower, the 44 story Paraiso Bayviews is also close to topping off and will be completed by the end of the year. In total over 1,300 residential units will be delivered to buyers.

Also under construction is the Meyer Davis designed Paraiso Beach Club, which will have a Michael Schwartz Restaurant on the first floor and private residents club on the second floor with a pool.

Park Grove in Coconut Grove

Two Park Grove and the Club Residences have topped off in Coconut Grove with 80 percent of the units sold. 

Construction has been completed on the new Coconut Grove Bank and is now open for business. Above the bank will be part of the pool and amenities for Park Grove. 

Park Grove will also have a Michael Schwartz restaurant designed by Meyer Davis that is expected to open in a year.

When we last looked at construction on Paraiso Bay, the 55 story condo was about to top off. Since that time, all the windows and balconies are nearly installed with only 4 more floors remaining. 

Construction on Gran Paraiso has reached the 12th floor and has changed significantly since we looked in May. Progress is being made on the amenities deck, which will be shared with residents of Paraiso Bay. Below the amenities deck are the Bay Homes that will have 4 different levels including a rooftop deck with a spa.

The luxury condominium Park Grove is starting to go vertical in Coconut Grove.

Park Grove will have three residential towers,  One Park Grove, Two Park Grove and Club Residences. One Park Grove will be a 20 story tower with 64 residential units. Prices for One Park Grove start at $4 million to $8 million and is 30% sold after two months of sales.

Local chef Michael Schwartz of Michael's Genuine Food & Drink and Harry's Pizzeria will open a 3,500 square foot restaurant at Park Grove that will be designed by Meyer Davis Studio. 

Park Grove is being developed by Terra Group and Related Group. The architect is OMA and Rem Koolhaas.
