Parkway West Medical Center
The abandoned Parkway West Medical Center located at 17300 NW 7th Avenue is heading to foreclosure auction, according to SFBJ.
The auction for the 136,190 square foot building on 3.6 acres is May 13th.

Park Grove Construction
The luxury condominium Park Grove is starting to go vertical in Coconut Grove.
Park Grove will have three residential towers, One Park Grove, Two Park Grove and Club Residences. One Park Grove will be a 20 story tower with 64 residential units. Prices for One Park Grove start at $4 million to $8 million and is 30% sold after two months of sales.
Local chef Michael Schwartz of Michael's Genuine Food & Drink and Harry's Pizzeria will open a 3,500 square foot restaurant at Park Grove that will be designed by Meyer Davis Studio.
Park Grove is being developed by Terra Group and Related Group. The architect is OMA and Rem Koolhaas.

Echo Brickell Under Construction
The luxury condominium Echo Brickell, located at 1451 Brickell Avenue continues to grow taller and taller. The 57 story tower has now reached the 32nd floor of construction.
The windows and balconies are being installed quickly as each floor rises higher.
A year ago, the crane was being installed on the site and was preparing to go vertical.
Groundbreaking on Echo Brickell began in October 2014.

Melody Tower in Miami
After breaking ground in June 2014, Melody Tower is almost completed and will be ready to open to residents in May. The 36 story tower with 497 residential units is developed by Melo Group and topped out at the beginning of the year.

The Canvas Site Overlooking Downtown
Located at 1630 NE 1st Avenue in the Arts & Entertainment District of Miami is the 37 story Canvas Condominiums.
Canvas is being developed by Nir Shoshani and Ron Gottesmann of NR Investments. The building will have 513 residential units and prices will range from $350,000 to $600,000. The unit size will range from 610 to 1,110 square feet.
Groundbreaking on the project began earlier this year after initially planned in December 2015.
Genting World Resorts Miami Site
The Miami Herald is speculating that the Genting Group might be looking to flip the 14 acres of land they purchased in 2011 for $236 million and even had a potential buyer look at the site.
When the site was purchased, Genting planned to build a mega resort on the edge of Biscayne Bay that would also include a casino. Included in the purchase of the land was the former Miami Herald Building, which took almost a year to completely tear down.
There was even discussion in 2014 with The Related Group to partner on a project, but plans never came to fruition.
The only activity on the site is the renovation of the historic Boulevard Shops on Biscayne Boulevard.
Hyde Midtown Under Construction
After breaking ground in September 2015, the 32 story Hyde Midtown is starting to go vertical.
The project is being developed by The Related Group and Dezer Development.
