Panorama Tower Reaches 46th Floor

Panorama Tower continues to rise in Brickell as it reaches the 46th floor before topping out at 83 stories.

The FAA recently approved a height increase to Panorama Tower from the initial height of 822 feet to 868 feet. 

Almost a year ago, Panorama had just reached the 11th floor of the parking garage.

Privé Island Under Construction

Hailed as, "South Florida's last private island," Privé Island will be two 16 story towers with 160 residential units located in Aventura in the middle of Dumfounding Bay.

Units will have 10 ft ceilings with 13ft - 15ft ceilings in the penthouse units. Prices range from $2.1 million to $11.4 million for a penthouse unit with a rooftop pool and private garage. 

Privé Island is being developed by BH3 and was designed by Sieger Suarez. 

Construction is expected to be completed by Summer 2017.

In December 2015, Thor Equities purchased a post office in the Design District for $43.2 million.

The two story building located at 70 NE 38TH St was built in 1947 and resides in the changing and expanding Design District. 

Thor Equities plan on designing a 57,961 square foot building with three floors that will include a rooftop deck. There will also be six retail tenants. 

Plans were designed by Touzet Studio.

Two Bids Submitted For Miami Riverside Center

Two bids have been submitted for Miami Riverside Center located at 444 SW 2nd Ave along the Miami River, according to The Miami Herald.

The June 20th deadline to submit a bid for the 3.15 acre site were received by Adler Group and Panther Capital LLC. 

Adler Group is developing the 34 story rental Riverside Tower next door.

The City of Miami is looking to sell the property and hoping the the buyer will build a new 375,000 square foot building at a new site possible next to Marlins Park or next to The Lyric Theater in Overtown.

The 60 story Porsche Design Tower with 132 units in Sunny Isles Beach is getting closer to completion. 

The project broke ground in April 2013 and is expected to be completed later this Summer.

Demolition Begins At Biscayne 27

Demolition at Biscayne 27

Demolition has begun at Biscayne 27 (the former Ion Edgewater site) in Edgewater. Workers have begun clearing the land and are in the process of demolishing all of the houses on the site. Most of the houses were built in the 1920's and were currently used as multi-unit apartment rentals. 

Located at 2701 Biscayne Boulevard, Biscayne 27 will be 8 stories and have 330 apartment units. There will also be 9,537 of retail space, 396 parking spaces and courtyard with pool. The building was designed by Corwil Architects.

The 2.2 acre site was purchased by Richman Group for $30 million. 

Construction on Biscayne 27 should begin before the end of the year.

Fortune May Purchase Marlborough House For 40M

Marlborough House on Miami Beach

Fortune International Group may be positioning to purchase the Marlborough House on Miami Beach for $39.9 million, according to SFBJ. 

The 13 story building was built in 1963 and sits on 43,000 square foot oceanfront land. A buyout of the 110 units would amount to $363,000 per unit. 

Fortune International Group is developing the under construction Jade Signature on Sunny Isles Beach.
