200 North Miami Avenue Rendering
Developer Moishe Mana has submitted plans for a 49 story rental tower in Downtown Miami to the Urban Development Review Board, according to The Next Miami.
The tower called 200 North Miami Avenue, was designed by Zyscovich Architects and will have 328 units and rising to 599 feet. Along with the recently completely Centro Tower in Downtown Miami, 200 North Miami Avenue will not have any parking.
Currently on the 14,325-square-foot lot are two buildings built in 1922 and 1925 where tenants include a pawn shop, pizza place and law office. The lot was purchased in January 2014 for just over $7 million.
Construction on Park Grove
After starting construction a year ago, Two Park Grove is starting to go vertical in Coconut Grove.
In May of this year, the foundation pour took place where 860 tons of steel and 2,600 cubic yards of concrete was poured at Two Park Grove. The foundation pour will support the tower columns of Two Park Grove.
Park Grove is being developed by Terra Group and The Related Group. The project was designed by OMA and is their first residential project in the United States. OMA sourced inspiration from Florida’s barrier islands ideally stacked one on top to resemble the vertical shape of Coconut Palm Trees to create this striking façade. The project’s exterior allows daylight into the units while benefitting from Coconut Grove’s lush greenery and cool breezes from Biscayne Bay.
Indigo Hotel Brickell
Since going vertical in at the beginning of this year, the Indigo Hotel in Brickell is about to reach the 8th floor of the 24 story building.
Groundbreaking on the hotel located at 145 SW 11th Street started in October 2015.

The SLS Brickell have begun testing the lights on the building the past few nights. The lighting on the tower illuminate during the night and gives Miami added color and vibrance to the skyline.
With the bright lights and new mural by artist Markus Linnenbrink, SLS Brickell is sure to be one of the most photographed buildings in Miami.
The SLS Brickell is only a few months away from completion as closings are planned for September 1st.
