Canvas Condo Tops Off At 37 Stories

Canvas Condo has topped off in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami at 37 stories. 

Construction on the tower started going vertical in July 2016.

Prices range from $390,000 to $654,000 and 620 to 1,110 square feet. Amenities include a sunrise/sunset pool, yoga rooms, gym and spa/sauna rooms.

Melo Group's Miami Plaza And Art Plaza Approved

Miami’s Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board has approved the rezone of Melo Group's Miami Plaza project, according to The Real Deal. 

The Miami Plaza site would be 36 stories and is located next to the under construction Square Station, also by Melo Group, which is about to top off soon.

Also, getting approval from Miami City Commissioners was Art Plaza, located at 58 NE 14th Street and will be two towers at 34 floors and 667 units. There will be 15,000 square feet of commercial space and 946 parking spaces.

Square Station in the Arts and Entertainment District of Miami is close to topping out a 34 stories.

The two buildings started to rise in February and is expected to be completed by January 2018.

Aria on the Bay

A year ago, Aria on the Bay was on the 20th floor of the 53 story building in Edgewater, Miami. 

Since topping off in March, all three cranes have been removed from the site and only the hoist remains on the building. 

The exterior of the building has been painted and all of the windows and balconies have been installed. 

The curves of the buildings are more pronounced when viewed up close.

Sign Installed At Echo Brickell

Since topping off in January, Echo Brickell is taking shape as the front sign has been installed over the lobby of the building.

A year ago, the building had just reached the 41st floor of construction. 

The 57 story luxury condominium was designed by Carlos Ott and is expected to be completed by early 2018.

Phase 1 Of Miami Marine Stadium Report Completed

Phase 1 of a 4 part report of the Miami Marine Stadium conducted by R.J. Heisenbottle Architects stated that the stadium is intact and can be restored to its former glory. 

The abandoned stadium, which has been closed since Hurricane Andrew in 1992 could be used for over 50 events including power boat races, sailing regattas, hydroplane races, art festivals, concerts, TV shows, and aquatic shows choreographed with music and lights.

The probable cost of construction is $40,323,361, which is within the $45 million special obligation bonds.
