Banco Santander Building on Brickell Avenue

The Banco Santander building located at 1401 Brickell Avenue is listed for sale, according to The Next Miami.

The 14 story building built in 1973, sits on a 87,958 square foot lot and was purchased for $114 million in 2008.

The site is approved by the FAA for an 844 foot building.

Other buildings on Brickell Avenue have sold in recent years such as 800 Brickell for $112 million, Brickell Arch for $142 million, the SunTrust Building for $140 million and 1221 Brickell for $155 million.

Property Markets Group And Greybrook To Partner On 400 Biscayne Site

Greybrook Realty Partners has invested $32.3 million with Property Markets Group to build a tower at 400 Biscayne Boulevard, according to The Real Deal. 

The site is under contract after a purchase price of $53.6 million in July from Property Markets Group. Currently on the site is the First United Methodist Church, which was built in 1980.

Property Markets Group and Greybrook Realty Partners plan on building a tower with 690 residential units and 20,000 square feet of commercial space.

PMG and Greybrook are also developing the under construction Vice rental tower, which topped off in June of this year.

City Block In Wynwood For Sale At $45M

A city block in Wynwood located between NW 2nd Ave and NW 3rd Ave to NW 29th St and NW 28th St is listed for sale for $45 million, according to The Miami Herald. 

The seller is Rockwell Capital, which assembled the properties five years ago.

The 90,000 square foot site is zoned for 12 stories and 311 residential units.

After being announced in July, a 42 story Miami Marriott Courtyard located at 511 NE 15th Street went under review by Miami's Urban Development Review Board on October 6th.

The 11,700 square foot lot was purchased for $8 million in February 2016 by Vinay Rama.

Designed by Shulman + Associates, The Miami Marriott Courtyard will have 270 hotel rooms and a rooftop bar.

Okan Group Proposes 73 Story The Sterling In Downtown Miami

Going under review on October 6 by the Urban Design Review Board is the propsosed 73 story tower in Downtown Miami called The Sterling.

The Sterling is to be developed by Okan Group at 501 North Miami Avenue on a 35,992 square foot lot purchased in March for 18.1 million. The Southern portion of the lot at 45,433 square feet, was purchased by Melo Group in July for $10 million. 

Designed by Behar Font Partners, The Sterling will be 73 stories at 956 feet and to resemble a tulip. There will be 362 residential units, 300 hotel rooms, 55,400 square feet of office space, 3,030 square feet of ground floor retail and a 12,040 square foot restaurant on the 68th floor.

After receiving approval in August from Miami's Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board, the Art Plaza site has been cleared and ready to start construction. 

Located at 58 NE 14th St in the Arts & Entertainment District, Art Plaza was approved for two towers at 34 stories and 667 units with 15,000 square feet of commercial space.

Melo Group has been active in the area with completed Melody Tower, the recently topped off Square Station and receiving approval for Miami Plaza across the street.
