Photos From Paraiso Bayviews Groundbreaking

On Wednesday August 12, The Related Group had the groundbreaking of Paraiso Bayviews in Miami's Edgewater district. The 44 story tower has 388 units and is currently 85% sold out. It was a perfect Summer Miami afternoon that was enjoyed by the large turn out event. Photos of the event can be seen below.

A Look At the Met Square Site

In Downtown Miami, the Met Square site has finally started construction after battling archaeologists over the discovery of an ancient Tequesta village. 

The building, which will have a movie theatre and restaurant is being developed by MDM Development Group while the 42 story 391 residential units named Avant, is being developed by ZOM. ZOM is also developing Monarc at Met 3 across the street.

Paraiso Bayviews To Have Ground Breaking Today

In Miami's Edgewater district, Related Group will have the ground breaking of its 44 story tower Paraiso Bayviews.

Construction is already underway on Paraiso Bay and One Paraiso, which is part of the 5 acre complex. GranParaiso will be the next and last of the four towers that will be under construction on the site. 

The Paraiso Bayviews tower was designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Karim Rashid, who will be attending the ground breaking.

The tower is expected to be completed in 2017.

1000 Museum Getting Ready For Concrete Pour

Over in the Park West District of Miami, 1000 Museum is getting ready for the concrete pour on the site. The base of two cranes have been installed and should go up very soon. 

According to Curbed Miami, new renderings show that 1000 Museum will not have an underwater glass wall rooftop pool anymore.

Miami Worldcenter Site Towards Downtown

Miami Worldcenter in expected to break ground on the site this quarter, according to The Next Miami. 

After expecting to break ground at the end of 2014, Miami Worldcenter has been delayed, but demolition crews have already started tearing down some buildings to get the site ready. 

Construction is expected to take 36-38 months with the first phase to include The Mall at Miami Worldcenter, Paramount Condo Tower and a ZOM rental tower. 

Construction On Hampton Inn & Suites

Hampton Inn & Suites at 3450 Biscayne Boulevard

After starting construction early this year, the Hampton Inn & Suites is scheduled to open first quarter of 2016. 

The 151 room hotel is located at 3450 Biscayne Boulevard. It is being developed by Mayan Properties, 3H Group Hotels and Arti Hersi Inc. The Kobi Karp designed hotel will also have retail and restaurant space.

Since our last update, SLS Lux was getting ready for the foundation pour at the site. Since then, two cranes have been installed and the building is starting to vertical.
