The Miami Marine Stadium has been abandoned since 1992 after Hurricane Andrew. City officials deemed the building to be structurally unsafe and ordered it closed. The stadium was used for boat races and concerts such as Gloria Estefan and Jimmy Buffett.
While the stadium has sat abandoned for twenty two years, it has become a haven for graffiti artists who have used the stadium walls as a canvas to display their work.
Friends of Miami Marine Stadium are working towards raising money and restoring the stadium for future use. They can be contacted at their website.

Envisioning A Biscayne Line Bay Walk For Miami
Red Outline Of Where A Bay Walk Would Be Implemented On Miami's Waterfront
Related Group is envisioning a pedestrian bay walk along the water that would stretch from Edgewater down to Brickell according to Curbed Miami. The bay walk would allow access for pedestrians, bicyclists and provide benches throughout.
The survey was done by Arquitectonica, which was commissioned by Related Group.
Creating a clear path and connecting the whole bay walk would take time, but is plausible thanks to new construction in Edgewater that is making access to the water a lot easier.
