A Look At The Surf Club Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences

 

As Fort Capital looks at a second phase expansion, construction is still continuing at The Surf Club Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences in Surfside. 

All the windows and balconies have been installed on the North, South and Four Seasons Hotel since we last looked at the project in May. The roof and exterior of the original Surf Club ballroom by architect Russell Pancoast in the front of the project is almost completely restored. The ballroom will be used as a lobby and reception area.

The Surf Club Four Seasons has two 12 story residences with 150 residential units plus 9 rooftop penthouses. The Four Seasons hotel will have 80 rooms. The project is being developed by Fort Capital and designed by Richard Meier and Partners Architects and Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Construction on the Frost Museum of Science is about 80% complete and is scheduled to open first quarter 2017, according to The Miami Herald.  

The Frost Museum of Science is located in Downtown Miami in Museum Park, which was previously known as Bicentennial Park.

Aria On The Bay Construction Photos

Aria on the Bay has reached the 20th floor of the 53 story condo in the Edgewater district of Miami. 

Two years ago on the site were two abandoned apartment buildings that were about to be demolished to make way for Aria on the Bay. 

The building, designed by Arquitectonica, is starting to show the curves of the tower surrounding the structure. The balconies and windows are starting to be installed on the lower portion of the building. A closer look inside reveals that some of the framing is being done on the inside of the units.

One Thousand Museum Construction Photos

One Thousand Museum continues to rise taller in the Park West district of Miami since our last update in May. 

The 62 story luxury condominium designed by architect Zaha Hadid will reach 700 feet. A year ago, the empty lot was getting ready for its foundation pour. 

The exoskeleton on the building is becoming more pronounced and glass fiber reinforced concrete will be used for the columns above the 15th floor. 

The building is expected to top off early Summer 2017 and be completed in 2018.

Beach House 8 on Miami Beach

The recently completed Beach House 8 located at 3651 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach has seen some activity on the market. 

A sixth floor unit sold for $7.5 million that has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths.

The penthouse of the 10 story building was purchased for $14 million by Brazilian businessman Mario Garnero, but he trying to flip the unit and has it listed for $21.9 million, according to The Real Deal.  

Beach House 8 was developed by Morabito Properties and CMC Group. Arquitectonica was the architect.

SLS Brickell - Day & Night Photos

Last month, the lights of the SLS Brickell began lightning the entire building at night, which can be seen driving along the Rickenbacker Causeway or I-95. Construction is on schedule and the building is scheduled to open October 3rd of this year. Previous construction photos can be viewed here.

Solitair Brickell

The under construction Solitair Brickell is starting to look more like its renderings. The serrated balconies are becoming more apparent as the building has reached the 18th floor. 

Solitair Brickell is being developed by ZOM and was designed by Stantec. The look of the building is inspired by the medjool palm tree.
