On October 24 at 7:30am demolition will begin to demolish the 12 story Electra on the Bay in Edgewater.
Demolition on the other homes and buildings on the block began in September and Electra on the Bay is the last building to be destroyed before construction on a new tower can start.
The land is owned by 700 Edgewater Development who is connected to Russian Oleg Baybakov. They have plans to build a 649 foot tower on the lot.
SLS Brickell in September
SLS Brickell is close to topping out on the 599 foot tower. Last night Related Group had the top brokers on the project on the 50th floor of the building.
Just 14 months ago, the building started going vertical. Construction on the Arquitectonica designed building is expected to be completed in 2016.
Canvas Miami Lot in Arts & Entertainment District
Canvas Miami is expected to break ground in December, according to Curbed Miami, which also has new renderings of the project.
The 37 story condo located at 1630 NE 1st Avenue, will have 513 residential units and 14,000 square feet of commercial space.
Completion is expected by 2017.
Hotel Indigo Rendering
Hotel Indigo in West Brickell will break ground in 10 days, according to The Real Deal.
The 24 story hotel located at 145 SW 11th Street will have 140 rooms and is being developed by HES Group and Sunview companies.
The lot, which has been empty for years, just received a $34.5 million financing loan from Ocean Bank.
