90 SW 8th St
After initially being for sale since August 2014, 90 SW 8th St has been sold for $29.5 million to Gazit Horizons.
The 21,210 square foot lot was originally under contract by Barlington Group with plans to turn the building into retail and a rooftop restaurant.
The three story building is located next to the under construction Solitair Brickell and the recently completed Brickell Heights.
Construction is starting to go vertical on Midtown 8 located at 2901 NE 1st Avenue in Midtown Miami.
Midtown 8 is being developed by Wood Partners and designed by Stantec, which also designed Midtown 29 across the street.
Midtown 8 will be 28 stories with 387 apartment units and 29,549 square feet of retail.
MiamiCentral Station
Construction is progressing on the 11 acre mixed used development MiamiCentral since we last looked in March.
The windows are being installed on the lower two floors where the 180,000 square feet of retail will be and include tenants such as Monger - New Signature Restaurant byThe Voltaggios, Rosetta, Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Parliament Espresso & Coffee Bar and more.
The elevated tracks are taking shape that will start service to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and eventually Orlando.
Progress has been made on the office tower Two MiamiCentral, which will have 190,000 square feet of class A office space at 10 stories. Tenants include Ernst & Young, Regus, Moss & Associates and Florida East Coast Industries and more. Two MiamiCentral is expected to be completed by the Fall of this year.
The other office tower, Three MiamiCentral, at 12 stories is nearly complete and is expected to open by the end of the Summer. Tenants include Brightline and more.

Midtown 29 Under Construction
Midtown 29 is progressing since we last looked at the project in May. A year ago, Midtown 29 was just starting to go vertical.
Most of the windows are in and the balconies are starting to be installed on the units.
Construction is expected to be completed early 2018.

After beginning groundbreaking in April of this year, Biscayne 27 is starting to go vertical in the Edgewater district of Miami.
Biscayne 27 will be 8 stories and have 330 apartment units on a 2.2 acre site.
Demolition on the houses previously on the site began in June 2016.
1010 Brickell
1010 Brickell is getting closer to completion since we last looked at the project in April. A year ago, 1010 Brickell had just reached the 41st floor.
Most of the blue protective covering has been removed from the balconies and the rooftop amenities deck is nearly finished with water in the pool.
