A Look At The Paraiso Construction In Edgewater

Construction at the Paraiso development in the Edgewater district of Miami is going quickly. Paraiso Bay is rising taller since we last looked in September 2015, while construction has started on the towers surrounding the building.

Groundbreaking for Paraiso Bayviews started in August 2015, while construction has started on One Paraiso. The final building in the development is Gran Paraiso, which is slated for groundbreaking in the first quarter of 2016.

The Paraiso development is headed by Related Group with Arquitectonica as the architect. Interior design is by Piero Lissoni while Karim Rashid is doing interiors for Paraiso Bayviews. Enzo Enea is doing landscape. The development will also have a Michael Schwartz restaurant on the water called Paraiso Beach Club.

Melody Has Topped Out

Melody Miami has topped out at 36 floors after previously reaching the 30th floor in October 2015.

The residential condo is being developed by Melo Group and Melody will have 497 units with 8,500 square feet of retail.

The Crimson Nearly Complete

Since topping off a year ago, The Crimson is almost complete on the 90 unit residential condo in Edgewater.

The 18 story building is located between the recently finishing Icon Bay and Bay House.

Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach Construction Updates

Turning the shell of the old Miami Heart Institute into the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach is still taking place on the site at 4701 Meridian Avenue. The previous six separate buildings are being combined into one building. Developers had to keep the existing shell because zoning on a new building would have required fewer floors.

Park Grove Construction Updates

After announcing Park Grove in the Summer of 2014, and starting construction earlier this year, work on the foundation is still taking place. Most of the parking has been removed and the Coconut Grove Bank will remain in operation while the work is done in phases.

Park Grove is being developed by Terra Group and Related Group that will consist of three residential towers and 300 units. Rem Koolhaas is the architect.

Hyde Midtown Construction Updates

Since Hyde Midtown Suite & Residences groundbreaking in September of this year, construction continues at the site.

A pile driver is on the site to start work on the foundation. The 32 story building will start to go vertical early next year.

East Coast Building Nearly Complete

East Coast Building on next to The Miami River

Since starting construction in August 2014, The East Coast Building along the Miami River is nearly complete. The storage facility with a rooftop restaurant and ground level restaurant recently completed the painting on the exterior of the building.
