Mary Street Office Coconut Grove
The Mary Street Office building in Coconut Grove is getting closer to completion since we last looked at construction in August 2018.
The Class A office building will have 75,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of retail.
The office building is across the street from Park Grove, which One Park Grove is still under construction and will be completed before the end of the year.
Art Plaza
The two tower Art Plaza at 34 stories in the Arts & Entertainment district is almost completed and scheduled to open this month as the final touches are being put on the building.
A year ago, construction reached the 8th floor before the East Tower topped off in November 2018 and the West Tower topping off at the beginning of this year.
Melo Group is also developing the nearby Miami Plaza, which just reached the 6th floor.

One Cocowalk Construction
Construction is moving quickly at One Cocowalk as the first glass is being installed on the second floor of the 5 story Class A office building.
When completed, the new Cocowalk will feature a Los Generales Mezcal & Grill and the newly announced Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza.

Grove at Grand Bay in Coconut Grove
TBT (June 23, 2015) - Overlooking Regatta Park in Coconut Grove, 4 years ago the twisting towers of Grove at Grand Bay topped off. The two buildings designed by Bjarke Ingels were eventually completed August 2016.
Grove at Grand Bay has topped off after finally twisting its way to twenty stories. The two towers overlook Biscayne Bay and is across from Regatta Park.

Miami Plaza Construction
The 35 story Miami Plaza in the Arts & Entertainment district has reached the 6th floor of construction.
Rising 370 feet, foundation work started in January and started going vertical in April.
Developed by Melo Group, Miami Plaza will have 425 rental units.
Babylon Apartments
The 5 story Babylon Apartments, built in 1982 by design firm Arquitectonica is set to be demolished before July, according to The Biscayne Times.
The building was designated as historic in July 2016 by Miami’s Preservation Board, but Miami City Commissioners overruled the vote by 4-1 to have it demolished in January 2018.
On June 13th, City Commissioners will decide whether the zoning for the site can be increased to 24 stories instead of the current 12 stories.

Southeast Financial Center
WeWork is leasing 90,000 square feet of office space over 4 floors in the Southeast Financial Center at 200 South Biscayne Blvd, according to The Real Deal.
Two floors will open by the end of the year with the other two floors opening Summer 2020.
The Southeast Financial Center was purchased by billionaire Armando Ortega for $516.6 million in December 2016.
WeWork is leasing 10 floors of office space in the under construction 830 Brickell Plaza tower in Brickell.
